About the Future Perfect Project
The Future Perfect Project creates opportunities for queer youth to express themselves authentically and to make honest work in various artistic mediums. We then produce their work and broadcast it to a wider community, both online and in-person. Since 2017 FPP has facilitated free creative arts workshops with over a 100 groups of young people around the U.S. and online, and we have produced original writing, music, a podcast, a series of animated short films, an inter-generational interview series, live performances, and so much more.
While lawmakers are working overtime to pass laws and propose measures to limit the self-expression of queer youth in schools and communities, FPP is encouraging the next generation to speak their truth and sing their songs of tomorrow. Now more than ever, we need their vision of a better world.
The Future Perfect Project at Prism will be held on Saturday, May 13 from 11am-5pm. This FREE one-day workshop is open to all LGBTQ+ teens. It will take place at the former Haddam Elementary School, 272 Saybrook Road in Higganum, CT.
Lunch and snacks will be provided.
Advanced registration is required.
